So...I found out today how much more productive I can be with a cup of coffee and a 64 pack of crayola to work with. Urinary system, here I come!

Good News!
So apparently my boyfriend's grandfather was the lead veterinarian for the Iditarod one year and was stationed in Nome for the event. It's a small world...looking forward to hearing what he says about the region.
Amidst my fear of being away from my parents, friends, boyfriend for so long this summer, I can't help but feel that God wants me in Nome for a reason...I don't know why...but there is a purpose there. Praying for focus on what He wants; not on my longing to be at home and comfortable.

Future Food Photographer?
My First Post...
So I decided to try this whole blogging thing. I'm going to Alaska this summer for 2 months to do an internship. I'll be living in a really small town on the coast of the Bering Sea...THE BERING SEA people! This is by far the wackiest, most out-there, bravest thing I have done with my life thus far. I am both eager to go and petrified to leave.
Anywho, I thought blogging might be a good way for me to keep everyone posted on my travels, and share some of my brilliant (cough) thoughts on life while I'm up there. I have a feeling this is going to be a wild ride in many ways, physically, mentally, and spiritually. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for me...
